There is More than One Way to Rock a Color Trend
The time has come to reveal the top colors of the season according to industry insiders. Drumroll please….this season look for the following colors to make the leap from the runways to the walkways…
Emerald is the Color of the Year
The powers that be have declared the new color of the hour to be emerald green. This vibrant jewel tone will be manufactured into everything imaginable from clothing to jewels to home decor and more. Emerald is a great color for spring because when you pair it with a bright white capri, then the color is even more vibrant than before. If you do not already own an emerald top and are not in the market for one, then you can still take part in the latest color trend. Look to your jewelry box for inspiration. You may have a hidden gem stashed away that you forgot about.
Aqua is Where It’s At
Next on the list of must have colors for spring is the a beautiful pastel…aquamarine. In fashion the color is a pastel blue, while in gem stones it is a clear stone with a hint of blue-green in it. This color is actually my favorite of the season which is why I featured it here with the sweater, tank, and capri. Aqua is one of those colors that look good on everyone and it looks good with everything. You can style it as you see featured here with a denim capri, but I could have just as easily paired it with a white or khaki bottom, or even a heather grey and it would have been just as fashionable.
Blue is Bold
The bright blue that was all the rage for fall in the color blocking trend will be a carryover for the spring, so don’t tuck those tops away just yet. Be prepared to trade your black and blue trend in for a black and white version and hit the door. This color is amazing on people with blue eyes as it draws out their eye color and makes it more intense.
As with any season, it will be long and you’ll have to trust it. This season make your day a little brighter by pulling out all the stops with the season’s hottest colors. If you don’t want to go all in with a commitment on a top, dip your toes in the water by picking up a great assortment of jewelry or scarves and pair them with the white top and bottom that you already own. After all there’s more than one way to rock a good trend…
